RA Guitars was started due to my frustration in finding exactly the guitar I wanted.

In researching the feasibility of building my own guitars, I quickly discovered that
the cost for obtaining the tools necessary for doing the job right makes it very difficult
to justify making a single guitar body or neck.

After putting it off for years, I decided to do it anyway.  I discovered a local source
for high quality North American hardwoods and I set about making a custom RG-7 body.

Based on my satisfaction with the results and the positive comments from
everyone who saw my guitars, I decided to offer them for sale to anyone who dreams
about a guitar that meets their exact desires yet who cannot afford the tools or maybe
does not have the space required for handcrafting their own dream guitar.

All RA Guitars are hand-crafted.  No soulless CNC routed bodies will be found here.
In building guitars by hand, care is taken that all tolerances are kept to precise
specifications.  Rest assured - Your Ibanez neck and parts will fit our bodies
exactly as they should.
